We are delighted to advise that registration is now open for the Oxford IBD MasterClass 2024.  The conference will be held on 23rd & 24th September 2024 at the Examination Schools in Oxford.  The theme of the meeting will be the progress towards Personalising Care in clinical practice.  As always, the meeting will be delivered by a distinguished faculty of expert speakers.  This year we have a wide range of topics to discuss and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and interact with the speakers and your contemporaries. The programme includes an outstanding national and  international Faculty that can present and lead discussions to blend cutting edge-science with state-of-the-art clinical practice.

We are delighted that Professor Vipul Jaraith (Western University, Ontario) has accepted our invitation to present the Truelove Lecture. Other international members of the faculty include Professors’ Jean-Frederuc Colombel (New York), Geert D’Haens (Amsterdam), Séverine Vermeire & Edouard Louis (Belgium) as well as our colleagues from the United Kingdom; Sarah Teichmann (Sanger Centre), Chris Lamb (Newcastle), James Lee (The Francis Crick Institute, London),  Nicola Fearnhead (Cambridge), Ailsa Hart (St Marks Hospital, London) & Nick Powell (Imperial College, London).  It is really a very exciting programme for scientists, physicians and other health care professionals.

In addition to the main Oxford MasterClass we are delighted to announce that we will be running a forum for specialist IBD Nurses entitled IBD Nursing; On the Move.  We will have a separate programme (add link to Nursing agenda) running in the morning on Monday 12th September, consisting of a plenary session followed by 3 breakout sessions.  Nurses attending this forum are welcome to join the main Oxford MasterClass sessions on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. See registration options.

Both meetings will be held in the Examinations School, which captures the essence of Oxford, as does the experience of dining in New College the venue for the OMC 2024 Course Dinner.

Registration (will be available soon) is open, please follow the link.  For any additional information, including Group Bookings, or if you’re a local TGU member, please refer to the Contacts page (insert link to contacts page) or email

Sponsors 2024

The Oxford IBD MasterClass 2024 would like to warmly thank and acknowledge the contributions from our sponsors, without whose support, this meeting would not be possible.

This meeting is supported by sponsorship contributions from various pharmaceutical companies who have had no input into the development and content of the meeting.

We do hope you will be able to join us for what will be a stimulating and enlightening 2-day event.

We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford!
