Oxford Simulation, Teaching and Research (OxSTaR) and the Medical Directors Office held the yearly QIP Symposium on Friday 5th July 2019 at Tingewick Hall, John Radcliffe Hospital.

posterprizesouh.jpegThis event brought together clinicians and managers who are leading local clinical audit /quality improvement projects and provided an opportunity to appreciate the hard work that staff have carried out. Ideas were shared by posters and prizes were awarded to the top three.

OxSTaR (Oxford Simulation, Teaching and Research) is based at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The centre provides a state of the art environment where medical students and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals can use adult and paediatric high fidelity patient simulators to rehearse a wide variety of medical scenarios. In addition the centre works closely with the Kadoorie Critical Care and Trauma Training and Research Centre which houses a high fidelity adult (METI) patient simulator.
