Congratulations Dr Matthias Friedrich!
Dr Matthias Friedrich has been selected as one of the seven NIHR Senior Research Fellows of the 2024 cohort.
Matthias’ researches cross-tissue mechanisms of fibrosis and inflammation at the TGU, with a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases. The fellowship will enable Dr Friedrich to develop leadership skills within the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).
In addition to the mentoring and coaching offered, the NIHR SRF also provides funding to boost research and strengthen his national and international network of researchers and clinicians.
