STEM APPRENTICE PLACEMENTS
This July we are hosting two STEM Apprentice Placements, funded by OxLEP and Oxfordshire Apprenticeships. They are organised by Science Oxford and are aimed at young people in year 11 or 12 who would like to know more about STEM careers and apprenticeships.
Whilst with us, the students will experience - the Translational Gastroenterology Unit and the Oxfordshire Respiratory Trials Unit - and get the chance to work with our researchers.
Last year Science Oxford organised 40 of these placements throughout various STEM businesses and academic institutions, so we are proud to be taking part this year and expanding opportunities for students to experience STEM environments.
We look forward to welcoming the students in the summer and hope to continue to participate in the program in the future.
