The Translational Gastroenterology Unit is celebrating its 10th year in existence in 2019. We thought this was a great opportunity to look at what shape the TGU has taken over that time, and where we would like to be heading in the future.

The Unit’s work spans a range from clinical research to basic science. We aim to apply the knowledge gained from lab studies to patients in order to improve care and develop new treatments - and ideally cures - for GI diseases.

So the work presented on the day will cover this ground and also cross a range of different diseases including inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, cancer and hepatitis.

We look forward to a lively day with some exciting talks and plenty of time for discussion.

Do come along and help us shape the future of the unit.

Places are free but are limited so we please ask you kindly to confirm your attendance at the day event, evening dinner or both - please register here.
