Femke Ahlers
Postdoctoral Scientist
My research focuses on using genomic epidemiology to study infectious diseases. I completed a DPhil in Population Health at the University of Oxford (2020-2024), supported by the Oxford Medical Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership and Oxford Population Health.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I read for a BA and MSci in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge (2016-2020), graduating with First Class Honours. I was awarded the Programme for Research in Science and Engineering scholarship to conduct research at Harvard University in the summer of 2019.
