Work Strand 7 focuses on translation of the science into real world stratification

stethoscopePatient demographic data, and the integrated data obtained through Work Strand 6, will be used to develop predictive models to guide effective treatment in the clinic. The models will be used to identify those HCV infected patients who will develop complications of liver cirrhosis so that they can be prioritised for therapy.

Health economic analyses of the prediction models generated will be undertaken and validated by clinical trials.

This Work Strand is led by Dr Graham Cooke (Imperial College London)
