Postdoctoral Research Scientist
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on modeling respiratory system physiology and its clinical applications. I completed my D.Phil. at the University of Oxford and my M.D. at Tsinghua University and Peking Union Medical College. During my D.Phil., I was supervised by Prof. Nayia Petousi, Prof. Peter Robbins, and Prof. Ian Pavord.
In my postdoctoral research, I focus on modeling gas exchange within the airways. This topic is an extension of my D.Phil. project, which investigated nitric oxide (NO) production depth in the conducting airways and its clinical implications. In parallel, I am also refining circulatory system models to better simulate blood flow to improve the precision in estimated paramters.
