Work Strand 1 focuses on patient recruitment

HCV Research UK is instrumental in recruiting patients for study by STOP-HCV. Patients recruited into HCV Research UK will be stratified by viral genotype, treatment history and liver disease status. The objectives of this work strand are to ensure appropriate patient groups are identified for STOP-HCV research studies and to incorporate prospective clinical studies, in particular those using directly acting anti-viral (DAA) drugs, into HCV Research UK.

This Work Strand is led by Dr John McLauchlan (University of Glasgow), coordinator of HCV Research UK.
