Tom, a Gastroenterology Clinical Research Fellow undertaking a DPhil in Professor Alison Simmon's lab, has been awarded an Oxford NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Clinical Research Career Development Fellowship

Tobias, a clinical visiting fellow in the Uhlig Group was awarded a Poster Prize 2016 at the 2016 ESPGHAN conference "NOX1 loss-of-function genetic variants in patients with inflammatory bowel disease” as well as a Research prize from the German Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition 2016 "Impaired antibacterial autophage links granulomatous intestinal inflammation in Niemann-Pick disease type C1 and XIAP deficiency with NOD2 variants in Crohn's Disease"
