Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic we have decided to postpone the Oxford MasterClass 2021 and reschedule for September 2022

NEW DATES: 12 & 13 SEPTEMBER 2022, AT THE EXAMINATIONS SCHOOLS, OXFORD, UK

Dates: 12th & 13th September 2022, at the Examinations Schools, Oxford, UK

Oxford MasterClass 2022 Organising Committee: Jack Satsangi, Paul Klenerman, Holm Uhlig, Simon Leedham, Alessandra Geremia, Denise O’Donnell & Lydia White.

The Oxford MasterClass 2022 will be held on 12th & 13th September at the Examination Schools in Oxford.  The focus of the meeting will be the innovations in IBD from the field of immunology.  As always, the meeting will be delivered by a distinguished faculty of national and international speakers.

We are delighted that Professor Ramnik Xavier (Harvard University) has accepted our invitation to be the Truelove Lecturer. Other international members of the faculty include Professors Britta Siegmund (Berlin), Geert D’Haens (Amsterdam), Brian Feagan (Canada) as well as our colleagues from the United Kingdom Tim Raine, Arthur Kaser, Peter Irving, Ailsa Hart & James Lindsay. It is really a very exciting programme for scientists, physicians at all stages of their careers, and other health care professionals.

For the first time, we start with a half-day symposium co-sponsored by the British Society of Immunology; before the translational and clinical sessions. Our aim, as in previous years, is to blend cutting edge-science with state-of-the-art clinical practice in 2022.

In addition to the main Oxford MasterClass we are delighted to announce that we will be running a forum for specialist IBD Nurses entitled IBD Nursing; On the Move a theoretical and practical session exploring academic and research pathways for advanced IBD nursing practice.  This programme will take place on the morning of Monday 12th September, after which nurses attending are welcome to register for the main Oxford MasterClass sessions on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning too. Select 'Nurse' option on registration list on the link below and options will be displayed on the following page including appropriate fees.
