Innate immunity and bacterial handling
Antibiotic resistance and bacterial infection is one of the biggest threats to global health, food security, and development today. I am interested in the role of innate immunity in anti-bacterial handling. I am currently working on identifying new pathways of anti-bacterial handling by employing advance technology which are broadly applicable against range of bacterial infection and can serve as druggable targets for the next generation of therapeutics against bacterial infection and antibiotic resistance.
