Will IrvingWill Irving

Will Irving is Professor of Virology at the University of Nottingham and an Honorary Consultant in Virology at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.  He is currently Chair of the Department of Health Expert Advisory Group on Hepatitis. His current research interests encompass diagnosis, management and pathogenesis of viral hepatitis. He is joint coordinator for HCV Research UK.

Neil GuhaNeil Guha

Neil Guha is a Clinical Associate Professor in Hepatology at the University of Nottingham. His current research focuses on biomarkers of liver fibrosis, particularly, serum markers, hypothesis generating technologies, imaging modalities and utilisation of biomarkers in clinical practice.

Jonathan BallJonathan Ball

Jonathan Ball is Professor of Molecular Virology & Deputy Head of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nottingham and leads an international translational hepatitis C virus (HCV) research program. His current research interests lie with the causes and effects of HIV and HCV quasispecies evolution. He is particularly interested in understanding how genetic variability influences envelope glycoprotein structure and function, and defining the host antibody response to these proteins.
