What are the mechanisms and mediators of a high-cost health-system level intervention, the 'antibiotic prescribing quality premium'?

In this workstream our objectives are to:

  1. Identify what contextual factors and intervention components are assocaited with more successful implementationof the 'antibiotic prescribing quality premium' at clinical commissioning group level, in terms of reducing antibiotic prescribing.
  2. Estimate the cost-effectiveness of the 'quality premium' in reducing prescribing, both using standard methods and novel methods developed within this programme
