In addition to the normal training opportunities provided through the University and the department, the palliative care research group offers training and support:

Research support

Researcher-driven projects: ideas and projects generated by individual staff members or colleagues who are undertaking Master's or PhDs.

Service-driven projects: ideas generated by clinical staff or volunteers which aim at service improvement for patients

Clinical training

This is provided through the clinical service at Sir Michael Sobell House.

National and international students

Students external to Oxford who are interested in carrying out research which is relevant to this group are welcome. Currently, we are not in a position to offer financial support so this would have to be arranged by the student in advance.

Recent students in this category: Lingjun Zhou and Cui Jing,  PhD students from Shanghai, China.
