Congratulations and a huge well done to Denise O’Donnell, Lead Research Nurse for the Gastro and Hepatology Clinical Trials Facility, Transalational Gastroenterology Unit, for receiving a High Sheriff Award!

denisehighsheriffaward.pngThese awards are given to people who are volunteers in the community who have made a significant difference or who have gone the extra mile in other roles. 

This year’s High Sheriff’s Awards were held on  Tuesday 26th March at 6.30pm at The Oxford Town Hall.

High Sheriff Richard Venables DL, presented the awards at the ceremony which was attended by Professor Paul Klenerman who nominated Denise and was followed by a drinks reception and canapes.

Denise commented on how lovely the evening was and how thrilled she was to have received the award!
