Junko Takata

Infectious Diseases Registrar

Junko is currently a specialty registrar in Infectious Diseases & General Internal Medicine at Oxford. She initially studied Natural Sciences and Public Health at the University of Cambridge, followed by graduate-entry medicine at the University of Oxford. She has worked on research projects in London, Oxford and Cambodia alongside clinical training, and is currently working on the Improving Outcomes in Necrotising Otitis Externa (IONOE) project within the OxBi Hub. Her other research interests include the intersection of acute medicine and infectious diseases, the use of big data, and public policy.
