External Advisory Board
The STOP-HCV External Advisory Board is represented at Project Steering Committee meetings and the Consortium's annual meetings. The Board provides valuable advice to the Consortium regarding progress and focus for future studies.

Geoff Dusheiko is an Honorary Consultant at the Royal Free London and Professor of Medicine at the Institute of Liver and Digestive Health, UCL. His major interests lie with the epidemiology, natural history, pathogenesis and treatment of chronic viral hepatitis. He has an international reputation as a clinical and academic hepatologist and has published widely in the field of viral hepatitis and antiviral therapies. |

Mark Harris is Professor of Virology at the University of Leeds and a Wellcome Trust Investigator. His research interests are the biology of hepatitis C virus, particularly molecular mechanisms of virus replication and pathogenesis. He has published over 60 papers on hepatitis C virus over the past 15 years, more recently his laboratory has broadened its remit to study aspects of alphaviruses, particularly Chikungunya. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of General Virology and Convenor of the Organising Committee for the 25th International HCV meeting to be held in Dublin in October 2018. |

Jacques Fellay is a medical doctor and researcher, with expertise in genomics and infectious diseases. He has a strong interest in personalised medicine and is a co-founder of healthbank. He is an Assistant Professor at the EPFL School of Life Sciences, a Visiting Physician at the Lausanne University Hospital and a Group Leader at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. In 2012, he was awarded the National Latsis Prize for his work on HIV and HCV host genomics. Jacques works closely with STOP-HCV in the genetic analysis of viral and host interactions. |
