NDM took part in this year’s Cheltenham Science Festival. Over the 6 day event, 45 volunteers from 5 different units took turns in running the NDM stall. On Monday 3rd June members of Daniel Wilson's team explained antibiotic resistance with a bacteria coconut shy, card game, ‘dance dance evolution’ interactive dance mat game and other fun activities. The following day, researchers from Paul Kenerman and Ellie Barnes' groups made virus models out of air dough, newspaper and sequins, explained personalised medicine choices with flow charts and sweets, and made DNA bracelets.
